This special grade is treated with proven fire-retardant chemicals at the time of manufacture and completely composed with high density hard wood veneers. With boiling water proof marine grade quality standards, it is uniquely processed for creating a super resistance from fire.
TRIBECA BLAZE FIRE RETARDANT PLYWOOD is manufactured as per IS:5509 specifications that ensures the rate of burning of the plywood extended beyond 20 minutes. The time taken for flames to penetrate in VRISAN KAVACH Plywood is beyond 30 minutes.
The Fire Retardant Plywood helps to delay or prevent combustion. In general, the Tribeca BLAZE , fire retardant plywood, reduces the flammability of materials by either blocking the fire physically or by initiating a chemical reaction that stops the fire. A fire retardant is a process in which plywood is specially treated with organic compound which have fire retardant properties. The overall process reduces the rate at which the flame spread or penetrates the surface of the plywood.
As per IS: 5509 specification, selected hardwood panels undergo vacuum pressure impregnation which results in a special chemical composition that helps in case of fire.
